NZ Snippets: Greenpeace, Teacher Strike, NZ First, Cameron Slater's Whaleoil, Racism and Cartoons

Cameron Slater is an ultra- right wing blogger who publishes Whaleoil, a blog that mainly provides links to commentaries written by others of similar persuasion.  Cameron is a climate warming doubter, he thinks banning plastic bags futile, he disapproves of euthanasia on any grounds, and says "Enough of the man bashing."

I presume the blog is his only source of revenue because of its call for donations and heavy use of advertising.  Many ads are innocuous enough: pet, personal and car insurance, medical alarms, car washes and sales, Samsung Galaxy, rental property,  AVG virus protection, and so on.

But some show poor taste for a blog purporting to strengthen NZ's political landscape.

Ads headed "Do you cum quickly with your wife?" "Erectile Dysfunction," "Single Russians," "Silk Couple Pyjamas" and "NZ dating" sites make strange -- or perhaps not so strange -- bedfellows with the more laudable reasons for his blog.
