| A Maori waka on the move |
Most postings are two or more years old and refer mainly to Fiji.
The new blog will be more balanced but with a leaning towards New Zealand. Fiji will continue to have an important place and more attention will be given to other Pacific Island nations.
The focus, as always, will aim to provide an informed and critical view of news and events. News and views from other countries will also be used where they are considered relevant to Oceania issues.

More about freedom of expression in Fiji would be good.
