pn747. Proposed new law on hate speech

The government is considering six changes to laws on hate speech with the intention of strengthening protection against speech that incites hatred or discrimination.    The present law concerns colour, race, ethnic or national origins.  The intention is to also include hate or discrimination against people because of their religion, gender, sexualities or disabilities.
