Hmmm... the problem is you don't specify which govt! Does "anti-govt" mean "anti elected govt" or "anti interim govt"? Sorry, but any result from this poll is totally meaningless without a clear definition of who you're talking about...

Crosbie,

Most people who are pro-government don't coming to the blog because they understand fully what is being done. They just go on with their everyday life.

The anti-government ones mostly go to blogsites and use nicknames to trash the government and make their negative statements go viral thru the web. These people can cry all they want, the military and Frank are moving ahead with everything it takes to realise their vision.

Don't worry about the result of the votes here, its not going to change Bainimarama one bit.

Anonymous #1. You may be right but people who are confused haven't read my blog in which I have always referred to the Bainimarama government as the Government or Interim Government, and always referred to its opponents as anti-Government. And if this is not clear, there is only one government in Fiji at the present time, whether we like it or not.

Anonymous #2. I'm sorry if pro-Govt people do not visit the blog. I'd like to think it contains information and ideas they -- and Government-- would find interesting and useful. You leave me wondering who I'm writing the blog for!

Dialogue now or later requires understanding legitimate criticism, looking seriously at other people's suggestions, and recognizing that however well-intentioned Government may be,it can sometimes improve its performance. If pro-Government people read newspapers, listen to the radio or watch TV, there's still something to learn from the blogs -- even the anti-Government ones.

@ croz

Let me tell you this.

Anti-government bloggers are the ones who shout loudest on the internet. But pro-government supporters know that empty vessels make the most sound.

Rest assured, most pro-government supporters do not go wasting their time tracking and countering the misinformation and negative reporting. Except for the few like you and me, others just read and move.

Well I believe pro-government bloggers have a role too. To express a point of view that is different from the politically correct chatter so beloved to Amnesty, the IBA and the Commonwealth. I think that we need to hear views which are more analytical, more aware of Fiji's history and less selective with the truth as some of the Anti- Goverment blogs are. I take my hat off to this blogsite. It is refreshing because of its committment to the truth. And its refusal to character assassinate critics. We need a forum like this. However its refusal to play dirty is the reason why the anti-government bloggers will find it unpalatable. i find it to be a rare voice of reason and balance in a mad world. Thanks.
