I was expecting strong words demanding Fiji be returned to the pacific islands forum but this makes no mention at all about Fiji and pif ? Is there another communiqué ?

The spear seems to be a bit blunt? As in not the sharpest tool in the shed?

Nothing in that communique talks about support for Fiji or its re-inclusion into PIF ??????

All commentators .. See the piece on Engaging the Pacific which the MSG leaders attended. The MSG communique was on matters such as global warning. The leaders had already endorsed Fiji's stance at the earlier meeting but, as people have commented elsewhere, it will be interesting to see how they stand at the Forum meeting when their two "big brothers" with their very large aid pockets are present.

"global warning'?? Is their some implied threat from the MSG that we are aware of?
As for the MSG leaders and their supposed stance for the military junta. Let each of these 'leaders' speak up individually at the forum and show the courage of supposed their support for an unelected military junta and its actions. I doubt it.
