Having an emerging superpower like India championing the small Pacific Island states with real issues such as Global warming is a great thing. People would take note of India's voice rather than the collective 14 Pacific island states together. It's just "the way things roll" these days in the International political arena. Bainimarama's comment the other day was right on the money in terms of utilizing India's emerging status to throw more light into the effect global warming is having on small island states such as Kiribati. <br />By the way, "you scratch my back, I will scratch yours".
